Charolotte Caxton... visits Barefoot Wanders

Charolotte's Blog Entry   caught my attention because it has all the little places where you can see the pictures other people have created at Barefoot Wanders.

The ground and each dome has a way to get to a 'photo dome' so you can see what others have created in that dome.

One door closes.... a cafe opens...

Barefoot Wanders is about to close.... well at the end of the month.

With Aeran's help I looked for land and found a cool little parcel to start up Barefoot Wanders in its own right!

This is the start of it... and it's a work in progress.

My list of wants...
I want to create somewhere for people to sit, chat and generally put the world right.
I want people to rez and use the space to create art
I want people to be nice to each other when they're here.

I don't want to make 9856982764 rules which mean nothing to anyone other than the person who owns the place.

There's a group...  Barefoot Wanders join it.  You'll be able to rez photo props such as poses but please clean up after.  Oh, please don't just live there and rez a house and a sex bed... I will just land on you just when you're about to... *coughs*

So yeah, come and have a look around and see what's going on.

How to add pictures to the photo cave.

There is now a photo cave where you can see pictures created at The Swing...

The TP will take you to a television set where some pictures I created are on show.  If you would like to add some pictures.  This is really the main aim of this project... send me the pictures any way you wish!  In world is the easiest way, however if you wish to send me a link to a flickr picture that's fine too.

Crackers and Machinima.

While profile stalking at C88 yesterday I read about a film Machinima maker in SL.  I looked at a couple of his youtube links.  I read his profile and asked about crackers!
Then he made this!

What's this all about then...

I am in the very early stages of setting up an interactive art space in SL.  I love visiting places to take photographs.  However, rarely do I come across somewhere where the art people create there is in itself part of the experience.  So... I have created Barefoot Wanders.

At the moment, the area is very small and is in the process of being finished.  However, I thought I would share my idea.  More for myself than you lot!

Each skydome has a different theme or focus.  In each setting there will be a hidden TP, where you can TP to an place where you can view the art work created in that particular space.

I want to make the area more interactive.  I love looking at flickr and seeing what people create, however, I'd like to take it back to SL in some way.
